Hyaluronic Acid goes on damp skin as the base layer. Well-hydrated skin tolerates Vitamin C and Retinol far better and shows results sooner, which is why a hydrator is in the box and not sold as an optional extra.
Protect by day
Vitamin C is an antioxidant, so its job is daytime defence: it mops up the free radicals from sun and pollution that cause dullness and pigmentation, and it works on the marks already there.
Renew by night
Retinol 2.5% works with your skin's overnight repair cycle to lift turnover and support collagen. Texture, pores and fine lines are structural concerns, and this is the only step in the set that addresses them.
Why all three, not one
A single serum only ever solves one thing. Vitamin C cannot renew, Retinol cannot brighten, and neither will perform on dehydrated skin. Day protection, night renewal and constant hydration is the full cycle, and it is the shortest route to visible change.
